Macro Photography Pt. 2
Macro photography opens up a whole new world of exciting photo opportunities. In part 1 we were out side looking at light and the problems of breeze moving delicate flowers about when you try to photograph them.
Now lets go in the house and have a look for macro close up photos in the kitchen. Now there's nothing terribly special about the kitchen, you can find great close ups almost anywhere so don't get hung up about which room to use.
Because macro works so well indoors and has great lighting from windows whatever the weather it's a great way to indulge your creative urges even when the weather is bad. As I said macro opens up all sorts of possibilities for interesting images. What do you think this is a photo of? Well watch the video and you can see me taking it and others.
I'll explain what I'm doing and why as I go so you'll leave here with all sorts of inspiring new macro photography ideas.
Mike, thank you for Masterclass in Photography. I was a teacher for over four decades, and I can say that your teaching style is superb. You have sequenced the lessons very well and taken things one step at a time. Your style is encouraging and motivating. Fellow photographers in my club say I have improved noticeably, and I say I owe that to you.
