Where do you go for the best digital photo printing?

In Best Digital Photo Printing (pt1) I shot this image, loaded it into photoshop and did some basic colour and density adjustments before sending two copies to two professional printers, and two to Boots and Jessops to see who made the best prints.

Back at base the prints have come back to me and it's time to see how they stack up and I have to confess to being surprised by the results.

My two professional labs returned the kind of print quality I'd expect from them. Clean, bright on good quality photo paper. The printing I got back from the two high street printers was not what I expected.
