Using Lightroom for processing images has opened my eyes

7 Steps to Workflow Mastery has:

Made a huge difference to my workflow.

How has it done that?

I previously had no real idea what catalogs and collections were. Now they have been explained I find them invaluable. My folders and filenames are indexed by date and using smart collections I now also have them indexed by subject as well.

What value you place on it and why?

Everything now has its place. I can find any picture in seconds and sticking to the workflow system, any future images will be consistently filed. It will save me a lot of time looking back to find an individual or group of images and I am confident that nothing will "fall through the cracks" and be lost.

Would you recommend it?

I considered myself quite proficient using Lightroom for processing images but my eyes have now been opened. I now see just how powerful it is for the management of files and I now have confidence that my images are safe and well ordered.

Anything else you'd like to say?

Credit has to go to Mike for his down to earth method of teaching on this LR course. It is very much an enthusiastic user explaining how it can help rather than a software engineer trying to explain how it works.
