A podcast specialising in the legal issues affecting photographers is returning for a second series.
PhotoLegal will be downloadable from September and will come with a new presenter in the form of Telegraph Media Group communities editor, Kate Day.
The podcast covers subjects including anti-terror laws that affect photographers, copyright, photography and the internet and the protection of images. It was launched by photographers Phill Price and Darren Hector. They were joined by solicitor, James Barisic who is able to give in-depth advice from a legal viewpoint.
It seems increasingly important that amateur and professional photographers learn more about protecting their images as more and more photo sharing sites open on the web.
The podcast is being streamed live from 3 September and will also be available on iTunes afterwards.
New presenter, Kate Day, says, "I am really looking forward to joining PhotoLegal. I have thoroughly enjoyed the podcast’s interesting and useful information and its lively and engaging presentation style."
As well as helping to present the podcast, Day is a journalist for the Telegraph where she blogs about photography and runs a weekly competition for budding photographers.
