 14th Jan 2010

viewfinder photography galleryThe Viewfinder Photography Gallery in Greenwich, London, is once again holding an ‘Open Salon’ event and is calling upon the public to submit photographs to be considered for the exhibit.

This will be the third consecutive Open Salon and hundreds of photographs, covering all genres, are expected to be displayed covering the walls of the gallery entirely.

All member of the public are encouraged to bring a photo along to be displayed or if they are unable to bring the picture in person they can send it to the gallery by post. Photos displayed at the event need not be in any particularly style or theme.

Entering a photograph in the exhibit would be a great finale to our Ultimate Beginners Course for any keen amateur photographer.

The curator of the event, Louise Forrester, says the event is a great opportunity for local people to display their work.

Each entrant must pay a £10 handling charge to enter their photo in the exhibition and for an additional £5 the organisers will print the picture for the entrant.

All those with a picture in the exhibition are also invited to attend the opening night of the event, which is being held on 25 February at 7pm.
