Amateur photographers from the Wirral area are being urged to enter a new TravelWise competition, which aims to raise awareness of green issues across the country.
Photographers of all ages can submit their photographs of popular landmarks and visitor attractions from across the Wirral region, all of which must incorporate walking, cycling or public transport all more sustainable alternatives to the car.
The main focus of the competition is to raise awareness of greener, healthier ways of getting from A to B.
The photos will be open to a public online vote to decide the winners - which will be picked for each of the five Merseyside local authorities across two age categories, (under 16, and 16 and over) before two overall winners are chosen.
A selection of the winning photographs will be put on public display at some of the area's leading visitor attractions during TravelWise Week on 20-26 September.
Photographers can visit www.LetsTravelWise.org for more information and can then submit their entries to the competition by emailing , along with details of their name, address and age.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on Wednesday 8 September.
