The Royal Photographic Society is holding its 152nd International Print Exhibition and is accepting entries up until Wednesday, 4th February 2009.
The touring exhibition will feature over 120 prizewinners chosen by a prestigious panel including Lewis Blackwell, the former creative director of Getty Images. Judging will take place on 3rd-4th March.
Although prizes for the photographic competition include digital cameras and cash, the best reward for many will be the honour of seeing their photographs exhibited for over a year around the United Kingdom and abroad.
For over 150 years, the International Print Exhibition has established itself as a leading showcase of diversity in photography, with an extensive range styles and genres. The latest in image technology appears right next to traditional photography.
The Royal Photographic Society invites submissions from amateur, professional and student photographers from around the world, and from non-members as well as members.
The entry cost is £15 for members, £15 for non-members and £10 for under-25s.
All applicants will receive a full colour catalogue of the winning entries.
