DIY Macro Home Studio Pt. 1

Amateur photographer Peter Little shows us how to make a macro home studio from children's toys, some tin foil and a picnic table.

You don't need to buy expensive specialist equipment to shoot great images, you just need to know how to think on your feet and improvise.

So when Peter contacted us and suggested making a film about his macro studio we jumped at the chance.

Peter demonstrates how to use window light, a home made reflector and a quick and simple way to change the background of an image using his macro home studio system.

In part 2 he shares a great set up for back lighting translucent subjects as well.

Take a look at out Macro Photography Tips film for more ideas which you could easily incorporate with Peters home studio set up.
