Macro Photography Pt. 1
Macro photography is all about getting in close. In these tips we'll explain about macro lenses and what makes them special - there's a big difference between a lens with macro facility and a proper macro lens.
When shooting macro photography it's very easy to get the wrong part of the picture sharp and in focus because when you get in close depth of field gets very small indeed. We'll show you why this happens and how to avoid it.
We often associate flowers with macro work and they make great subjects, however it can be tricky photographing such subtle subjects outdoors because the tiniest breath of wind makes them move. And when you're working with a tiny depth of field this can be a pain. I
Good light is crucial for tiny close up subjects too so finding the right light for your macro subject will make all the difference between just another close up - and an eye catching image.
