The new Creative Suite 5 has been launched by Adobe. The new software update includes Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, DreamWeaver, After Effects and Illustrator.

Adobe claims the new suite is a “breakthrough release” that will help to improve workflow for creative professionals, which includes photographers.

The Photoshop CS5 element of the new suite includes better lens correction options, which helps any photographer who is struggling to understand camera lenses and digital photography.

The new updated Photoshop also includes new Refine Edge, which offers enhanced edge detection, which allows photographers to mask objects more quickly using the software.

Another new feature is Content-Aware Fill, which enables users to remove an element from a photograph and will automatically replace the missing pixels. This type of tool will intelligently fill gaps with pixels that match the background after an element has been removed.

For anyone using their pictures in a publishing capacity, the new Creative Suite 5 will be extremely desirable. However, it is worth noting that the fastest processors and lots of RAM is necessary to enable the software to run as quickly as possible.
