Photographer to offer insight into industry

 30th Nov 2011

A photographer is hosting an event in South Norwood to allow amateur photographers a glimpse into the professional world. Mike Browne another professional photographer runs one to one Photography tuition courses for those wishing to improve their skills.

Grant Scott, former art director of Elle and Tatler, and the current editor of film and photography magazine Hungry Eye, will oversee talks and discussion on 6 December at the area's adult education centre.

Mr Scott is at the top of his game and it is hoped that his experience with clients ranging from John Lewis to The Ritz Hotel, will provide some additional insight into the business for those with a casual interest or professional aspirations. His work with Universal Records, Sony Ericsson and Bang and Olufson should also provide some interesting topics of discussion for those in attendance.

In addition to his time at major fashion and lifestyle publications, Mr Scott hopes to share the experience he gained at more specialised photography guides, including Professional Photographer, Photography Monthly and Turning Pro.

The event starts at 7:30pm and costs £6.50 to attend. Anybody wishing to learn from Mr Scott will need to head to the White Box photographic studio on the night at the South Norwood CALAT to enjoy his talk. For more information about CALAT go to [CCM::Ext::Link~285]
