Inaugural London Photo Festival approaching

 5th Oct 2011

The inaugural London Photo Festival is fast approaching and amateur and semi-professional photographers are gearing up to show their work to new audiences. To get the skills to enter competitions and learn from one of the best teachers in the industry go to one to one photography tuition.

Over 30 exhibitors are expected to attend the festival, which will allow them to show off their work and enjoy a networking evening to build up their presence within the photography community.

However, there will also be speakers and sponsors in attendance, including Zoom In Photography, Frui, Sal Shuel, Photofusion and Shirley Read, an author and lecturer in photography at Citylit London. Ms Read is a guest of honour at the private viewing of the exhibition, which is taking place on the first night of the festival.

It is hoped that the presence of these different key speakers and groups will encourage new views on photography and help to deliver valuable professional feedback on the work on display.

Organised by the founders of Abitoffthemap Photography and HCK Photography, the event runs over three days from 27 to 29 October and will be held in the Crypt near London Bridge Underground station. Entrance is free and the event will be open from 10am to 7pm on the Friday and Saturday.

Further information can be found at www.londonphotofestival.org.
