Photoshop is like a huge workshop packed with the best photo editing tools money can buy.

But when you first look inside it can be very intimidating and you'll be wondering what on earth all these shiny exciting looking tools do and which one to pick up first.

This is a guided tour of the workshop. We'll look inside some of the drawers and explain what the different sections are for, because until you know what it is you're looking at you won't even begin to be able to edit images.

Photoshop is actually a tool in itself in that you can customise which tools it shows and where it puts them. This is called creating a workspace - a way of setting photoshop up for whatever it is you want to do.
