Made in Britian Photography Awards.

 15th May 2012

Prizes are £5000 worth of photographic equipment in this years EEF Made in Britian's Awards.

This competition theme is all about British manufacturing and the manufacturers' organisation, EEF, is looking for images
that capture British products, components or processes. This could be anything from turbines to silicon chips, or it could portray any part of the journey within the realm of inventing, designing or making of British products.
"There's a boldness and beauty to British manufacturing that we're looking to capture through stunning photography says EEF Chief Executive Terry Scuoler. Our aim is to give British manufacturing a greater audience and to challenge the belief that Britain doesn't manufacture anything anymore.
Winners will share a prize fund of £5000 worth of Canon photographic equipment and gain national recognition at the Westminster awards reception in December 2012.
There is no fee to enter this competition and it is set out in three categories: professional, amateur and young people (14-19).
The closing date for the competition is 28 September 2012, with entries shortlisted by a national panel of photographic and industry experts in October. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in December. The gallery of winning and shortlisted images will be showcased throughout 2013.
